MSH at Home is currently recruiting additional Health Support Personal Assistants (HSPAs) to support our Self Care programme with older people in Kensington and Chelsea and North Westminster.
If you are a personal trainer, training as a personal trainer or have a health & fitness/semi-professional sports background, are seeking your skill set to help deliver our:
Exercise at Home – Providing regular support from experienced Health Support Personal Assistants (HSPAs) with a health and fitness background, to undertake gentle home-based exercise. A session plan is negotiated with the client following an initial assessment, aimed to help improve core strength, balance and flexibility to increase confidence, promote cardiovascular fitness, reduce stress, assist with weight control and reduce falls risk. These sessions typically involve a programme of six weekly sessions.
If you enjoy helping others to make a positive difference to improve the health and welling of more vulnerable members of the community, this provides an opportunity to use your fitness skills to earn additional income on a flexible basis.
This work is offered within a sessional working contract, operating from 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday. Successful applicants will be allocated a caseload of clients and manage their own diaries, meaning you can schedule sessions around other commitments, giving you flexibility of your working time. All sessions are logged on our Mobizio care planning system, ensuring staff safety and efficiency of session reporting.
In return, you will be offered excellent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, including support to complete your National Care Certificate within the first 12 weeks of starting with the company. MSH at Home is also a registered London Living Wage Employer offering competitive pay rates. Paid for direct session delivery only, however travel from your home to visiting patients is reimbursed.
